Demand for Nursing study abroad in Germany

Admission information
1. Admission requirements
Male/female from 18-30 years old.
Male/female in good health
Have continuous study and work time up to now confirmed by competent authority. No criminal record.
Currently studying or have a diploma in Nursing, Nursing College or related fields. Or students who only have a high school diploma but have many years of experience working in the health care industry.
Students who have already achieved B2 and B1 German level (tested at Goethe Institute or Hanoi University) will have their application documents including Invitation Letter and Internship Contract completed to apply for a visa immediately. These students will also receive special Discount and Support policies from URIAH Vietnam. In particular, students who have B1 will go to Germany to attend the B2 course, students who have B2 will participate in vocational training on the nearest opening day.
Students who have not reached B1 German level can participate in intensive, high-intensity German courses suitable for their abilities organized by URIAH Vietnam.
2. Application documents and study abroad contract include:
CV + 4 3×4 photos
Passport, ID card, Household registration: photocopy + original for comparison.
Criminal record: original (request at the Provincial Department of Justice).
High School Transcript and Diploma: photocopy + original for comparison.
German language certificate from Goethe Institute or Hanoi University (if available).
Vocational certificate or degree related to the profession you intend to study in Germany (if any): photocopy + original for comparison.
Records related to continuous study and work from age 18 to present (confirmation of study and work if any).
Health certificate for studying and working abroad.
During the application process, students may be required to provide additional documents as required by the competent authorities and the school at each time (URIAH will provide specific instructions).

Roadmap of steps to study according to the Nursing apprenticeship program in Germany
1. German language program to level B1 in Vietnam
Duration: usually lasts 6 months – 12 months depending on the student’s ability.
URIAH Vietnam organizes German language classes at appropriate levels for students in need.
Students who have a B1 certificate or higher do not have to participate in this program.
2. Internship program
Students who have a vocational college or intermediate degree in nursing will only focus on learning German.
For students studying at intermediate or vocational college level in Vietnam, they can continue studying in parallel with German language study.
Students with only a high school diploma but with many years of experience working in the healthcare industry will be required to attend a training program to obtain a Primary Vocational Certificate. URIAH Vietnam has training partners to support students.
3. German language program to level B2 in Germany
Training time : 6 months in Germany.
If students already have a B2 certificate when applying, they will not have to participate in this program.
If the student does not reach level B2 after 6 months, the language study period can be extended for a maximum of 6 more months. Some schools allow a maximum of 18 months.
4. Paid practical vocational training program in Germany
Training period: 36 months.
Admission : March and September every year.
Benefits of studying Nursing in Germany
Study nursing in Germany
Studying medicine in Germany, you are completely exempted from tuition fees during the 36-month vocational training period in Germany.
Receive a practical salary during the training period in Germany with an initial practical salary of 955 – 1150 Euro/month depending on the policy of each state. This salary will increase according to the school year and is clearly stated in the internship contract. This salary can completely cover all living expenses during the training period for students without having to work part-time.
Legal overtime 10 hours/week with income from 8.5 Euro/hour.
Full health insurance coverage. With the world’s best health care and social welfare system, insurance will cover all medical examination and treatment costs in case of any health problems.
Studying medicine in Germany has up to 100% job opportunities after graduation in Germany with total salary and benefits like Germans with a pre-tax salary of 1,900 – 2,800 Euro/month depending on the policy of each state. With this salary, after deducting tax and social insurance costs, workers will have in hand from 1329 EU – 1766 Euro. (The writer gives an example in the state of Saxony, in 2018, the highest tax deduction level for unmarried people).
After 2 years of continuous work (study time is not counted), qualified students can apply for long-term residence, German citizenship and permanent residence in Germany.
